Countdown Days App Reviews

This app will not open. What is going on???

I have a total 7 countdowns setup. When I restart the computer, all 7 events disappear but only about 1/2 of the time. Sometimes a 2nd reboot will bring them back, other times it won’t and I have to set them back up. And like others, I have found their support to be lacking.

Completely unusable

When I first downloaded this, it worked. Now when I try to create a new event, it does not allow me to actually set a date. It’s starts up like a timer….to what I have no idea. But kind of pointless if you can’t actually put a date in the future to actually “count down”.

Application doesn’t even open.

I love it!!! I really don’t understand all the negitive reviews I have had this app for quite a while. I have never had a problem with it except (not much of a problem) sometimes When turned off and then turned back on it will stack up some of the counting windows instead of leaving them spread out (Mayme stacking is the default?) but never have I lost data. I do wish there were some adaptions with it ….. First have it morph into a screensaver so you can look at it anytime (while not at the computer) Second Have an option for it to convert the days into Years, Months and Days format, for long range count-ups or count-downs. I use it to keep track of birthdays (and ages) of my 10 grandchildren and other family dates, my “paydays” (since some come on the 1st of the month if it is a business day or the Friday before and one comes on the fourth Wednesday of the month ‘from the Twenty-second to the twenty eighth of the month’) The support has been good I have sugessted to them of a change I’d like to see they came back to me quickly at infoemed me they would look into to it. What more can you ask for it is just 99¢?

When I first launched this app I couldn’t do anything with it, because the Black Background obscures all the options. I suggest change the Black Background first to a light gradient, I used green and de-selected “use solid color instead of gradient color”. A-batta-bing-batta-boom, options appeared. Sweew little app. Once now with each new countdown you can change the default color and text. At least now I can easily see the options. The developer really goofed up making the Default Background “Black” AND Default Text Color “Black” DOH!!!!
